Run out trad routes, scary high-ball boulder problems, ice-covered alpine walls and all-or-nothing free-solo ascents form the crucibles in which these climbers push through their fear and discover the uncertain consequences that lie on the other side. Directors Peter Mortimer & Nick Rosen
Peter Mortimer is a filmmaker who lives in Boulder, Colorado. He is the founder of the adventure film company Sender Films. Peter has produced and directed five critically acclaimed feature rock-climbing documentaries, among the most widely-viewed films of the genre. His documentaries have won over 50 awards at international film festivals, including numerous awards at the prestigious Banff Film Festival. Peter received his BA from Colorado College, where he graduated with honors in Geology, and later received his MFA from USC's School of Cinema and Television in the Peter Stark Producing Program. There he was awarded the Hollywood Foreign Press Scholarship and Robert S Ferguson Marketing Award for his film and thesis work. Peter is an avid climber, and travels the world following his climbing and filming passions.
